Rev. Stephen J. Benden, C.Ss.R., Pastor

    Hello “Rock” family,

I am planning on doing more of these notes, maybe a couple of times a week.  I want you to know that Fr. Rodney and I are thinking of all of you often and praying for you.  As far as I know, none of our Rock faithful has contracted the virus.  PRAISE GOD!  I hope the news remains good.  I wanted tell you that we are going to begin Live Streaming the daily and Sunday masses.  This means you will be able to see us live while we are saying mass.  I think it will be nice because many are watching EWTN or the Cathedral mass, but now you can see us.  Until we get the kinks worked out we will have the recorded mass available.  Click on the links at the top of this page for the March 22 and March 29th Masses.  For future viewings follow this link:  youtube.com to YouTube.  Once there, search for St. Alphonsus Rock church.

We have also purchased Zoom for the parish which will give us the access to have meetings with one another.  The 1st group I would like to meet with is the finance council.  At the meeting we basically would have a check in with one another.  There may be some business, but not much.  I think it would just be nice to be able to see one another and talk to one another.  The day and time has not been determined yet.

This is about all the space I get.  Peace and Love.

Fr. Steve
